I know that in the past, the website and forums have gone downhill, big time. Also, I am quite busy, but I figured it was time to get these back online and hopefully get the members back active and help out the community as much as I possibly can, as well as other members too!

Also, if you’ve known me throughout the past, and what I’ve done, I was a huge part of the Invision Power community. I haven’t been for some time now, due to other priorities (eg: school mainly — it’s a killer). I am here to tell you that I do still write modifications, but not as actively as I used to in the past. Please do forgive me!

Also, when you’re reading this, I do assume you notice that I am running phpBB. And no, don’t jump to conclusions that I’ve joined the *other* dark side, apart from IPB. I am still quite a big fan of IPB but I have decided to run phpBB for the forums community because of 3 reasons:

• I am running wordpress for the main website.
• bbPress sucks major
• phpBB is free
• phpBB also has ability to integrate with Wordpress. (Sweet)

Those are the main reasons why I have it setup the way as it is. Also, I’d like to think of it as another opportunity for me to learn phpBB’s code and adapt to it and possibly expand to creating mods and other scripts for this platform as well! (Wouldn’t that be cool?)

Anyways, hopefully that will answers a few questions that anyone has. I know that there will be more and more questions (lots more, I hope!) and I do want to do my best to get them answered. But do be patient and rely on other members as well as me!
